Who we are

Keith Systems is a cybersecurity and network security consulting business based in Lompoc, California, serving Santa Barbara County, southern San Luis Obispo County, and remote clients. Contact: jacob@keithsystems.com, (805) 800-8163.

What we collect

When you request a free security consult or otherwise contact us, we receive your name, phone number, optional email address, town, the type of organization, the best time to reach you, and any details you choose to type. Please do not put passwords, account numbers, or sensitive data in the form.

This website does not run a customer account system, shopping cart, or payment form. There is nothing to sign up for and no account to make.

How the consult form is handled

When you press send, your answers are submitted to us directly. The submission is stored and emailed to Jacob Keith. It holds only what you typed and which page or link brought you here. If the submission cannot reach us, the page shows the phone number and email address so a request is never silently lost.

We use your request only to call you back, schedule the consult, and follow up on work you ask for. We do not add you to a mailing list or any recurring marketing. Ask us and we will delete your request.

Phone calls

Calls to our business number, (805) 800-8163, are answered by an automated AI assistant named Cass. It tells you it is an automated assistant and that it takes notes so Jacob can follow up. The assistant processes call audio in real time to create a text summary; our system does not keep an audio recording. A text summary of what you say (your name, number, what you need, and similar details) is saved and emailed to Jacob. Your phone company and our telephone provider may keep ordinary call records such as the number you called from and the time of the call.

Hosting and technical logs

This site is served through Cloudflare. Like most hosts and CDNs, Cloudflare may process standard request metadata (IP address, user agent, timestamps, and similar) for security, caching, and reliability. We do not use that data for advertising profiles.

Analytics and cookies

We do not run advertising trackers or set our own cookies. Cloudflare may set strictly necessary security cookies. If privacy-friendly analytics are added later, they will be limited to aggregate traffic measurement and will not be used to sell personal information.

What we do not do

We do not sell personal information. We do not rent lead lists. We do not use your contact details for unrelated marketing lists. Information about a client's systems that we learn during paid work is treated as confidential and shared only as needed to perform the work you hired us for.

Retention and your choices

Inquiry emails and call notes are kept as long as they are useful for the conversation and any related engagement, then removed or archived in the ordinary course of business record-keeping. You can contact us at any time to update or delete inquiry details we hold, subject to records we must keep for active work or legal obligations. California residents may have additional rights under the CCPA/CPRA; because we do not sell personal information and operate as a small local business, most requests are handled by simply emailing or calling us.

If this policy changes in a material way, we will update the date at the top of this page.
