Tell me a little, and I will call you.

Service area
On site in Santa Barbara County and southern San Luis Obispo County. Remote anywhere. Based in Lompoc, California.

Sent only to Keith Systems. Used only to call you back. See the privacy page. Please do not put passwords or sensitive data in this form.

What the free consult covers

  • How your business works day to day: number of people, locations, and the systems you rely on.
  • What sensitive data you hold, such as patient records, client financials, or defense contract information.
  • Your email and cloud accounts, including whether multi-factor authentication is in place.
  • How your office network is laid out at a high level, including guest Wi-Fi and connected devices.
  • Any outside requirements, such as a defense contract clause, a cyber insurance questionnaire, or HIPAA expectations.
  • Recent incidents or close calls, like a phishing email that worked or a suspicious login.
  • A plain recommendation on what to do first, and whether paid help makes sense at all.

What to have ready

You do not need any documents. It helps to know roughly:

  • How many people use computers or business accounts.
  • Which email system you use, for example Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace.
  • Whether you work on defense contracts, handle patient data, or take card payments.
  • Who currently handles your IT, if anyone.
  • Whether your insurer, a customer, or a prime contractor has asked you security questions.
  • What worries you most.

What happens next

  1. You decide. After the consult you get a short summary of what we discussed. You can stop there with no obligation.
  2. Written scope and fee. If you want help, you receive a written scope describing the work and the fee, before any work begins.
  3. Work and handoff. We do the agreed work and finish with a plain-language written summary and next steps.

To book, call (805) 800-8163 or email jacob@keithsystems.com.

What this is not

The consult is a conversation, not a full assessment, a CMMC assessment, or legal advice. It is not a pitch for equipment: Keith Systems does not sell hardware or do physical equipment work. If you want a deeper look afterward, see security assessments or read what to expect from the free security consult.

Questions

Before you call.

Is the consult really free?

Yes. The consult is free with no obligation. You will not be asked for payment information. If, after the conversation, you want Keith Systems to do any work, you receive a written scope with the fee stated before anything starts. Many businesses simply leave with a short list of steps they can take on their own.

Do I need to be technical to get value from it?

No. The consult is designed for owners and office managers, not IT specialists. Questions are about how your business operates, what data you hold, and what worries you. If you have an IT person or provider, they are welcome to join, but it is not required. Everything is explained in plain language.

Can we meet in person instead?

The free consult is a call or video chat, which keeps it quick for you. If you later engage Keith Systems, on-site visits are available across Santa Barbara County and southern San Luis Obispo County for things like staff training and tabletop exercises. See the service area for towns served.

Scope. Keith Systems is not a licensed contractor and does not perform, sell, arrange, or contract for installation of any equipment. For installation of cameras, alarms, or door systems, find a California-licensed contractor through the Contractors State License Board at cslb.ca.gov license lookup. Keith Systems is not affiliated with or endorsed by Vandenberg Space Force Base or any government agency.
