Questions
Not for the system itself. Recording, alerts, and remote viewing run on hardware you own, with no subscription to see your own footage. The only recurring items are optional: professional alarm monitoring, cellular service at a remote site, or an annual health check plan. You choose those separately.
Usually fewer than the quote you were handed. Coverage comes from placement, not count. Six cameras aimed correctly beat twelve pointed at roof lines and lawn. The walkthrough exists to figure out the real number.
Often, yes. A large share of the work is making an existing system do what the owner already thought it was doing: fixing angles, storage, alerts, and the credentials nobody ever changed. Replacement gets recommended when it is genuinely warranted.
No. The packages are starting points that make it easier to see what a complete setup includes. Take a piece of one, combine two, or start with cameras now and doors next year.
You and whoever you grant access to. Video stays on the recorder at your property, remote viewing is encrypted, and nothing is handed to a third party for storage or analysis. That design decision is why there is no monthly fee.
Yes. Assessments, segmentation reviews, vulnerability management, and incident response planning are available on their own, for organizations that have no interest in new cameras.
